- "Human Events": How David Westin fired my lazy ass.
Of course, with a CV like this:
"Miss Miller is a senior editor of HUMAN EVENTS. Previously, she
served as the deputy press secretary at the State Department during
the George W. Bush administration and the communications director to
the House Majority Whip, Tom DeLay. Miller also served as an associate - Re: Bryan Batt & MAD MEN
There's that ugly reading comprehension thing again. The paragraph was
all there. I interspersed comments at various points in which I agreed,
disagreed, or found you over-the-top annoying by stating the obvious.
The context was not missing. - Re: Persons Unknown Finale (SPOILERS)
I just say it. You quote me saying it. Nice of you to allow me to have
an opinion.
We don't know anything of intent or conclusion based on what the producer
claims. If it's not been produced, we don't know what the show would have
been. There are always compromises, changes, reconsiderations. Furthermore, - Re: Rubicon
The trouble with that older audience is that they've this done better
before, with more engaging characters and sharper writing. This thing
reminds me of nothing so much as Jules Fieffer's rendition of a New
York Times Sunday color cartoon. It's like they're stretching two
hours of material into a 10 hour show. - Re: Emmys breaks twice for Breaking Bad
You're not listening to me, Ken. Also, "dramedy" is not and will never
be a word.
"Hooperman" was not a comedy. It was straight drama, with lighter moments.
"Sports Night" absolutely, positively was comedy, despite some famous
dramatic moments. "Molly Dodd" was harder to classify, but there was a
great deal of comedy in it. - Re: Don't talk to Aliens Or God!
No, that is not what I'm saying...
Okay, once more...
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" Genesis 1:1.
So, while he was working on the 'heavens', he created 'primary colors', Red, Blue and Green.
The primary colors are the same everywhere in the universe/heavens.
Then, afterwards - How the cowardly Rich thinks in Canada

Copyright under the American system is not property, although I will
grant that the ourts have bastardized the concept to the point where it
currently resembles it.

In the new copyright regime, no will pull that hoary old Sturgeon's Law
cliche any more. This is getting to be a better idea all the time.
All new cliches! - Re: Questions on the Fall season of TV
In article <i6e2ss$qs...@news.eternal-sep tember.org>,
They just did it for headlines. They made some lame argument where they
came up with their own definition of what the slogan meant and then
disagreed with it, but all it really was, was B&N launching a nuisance
lawsuit for publicity (I think it coincided with B&N selling online) - Re: HAPPY BIRTHDAY STAR TREK Didn't Felix and Oscar still hate each other?

She was such a role model. She's taken credit for paving the way for
"Mary Tyler Moore". Miss Moore has never given her credit.
I figured they never married in case the show got renewed. - Re: Don't talk to Aliens Or God! Like I said...
